Globe controls
- Drag with a mouse or finger to rotate. Scroll or pinch to zoom.
- Use the +, −, and reset buttons on the globe.
- Tab to the globe controls, then use arrow keys to rotate and + or − to zoom.
- Small countries and islands have enlarged selectable dots.
- Correct answers center and zoom the globe on the country with north upright. Find mode also centers the country you guessed. Drag or scroll to take control, or use reset to return to the whole globe. Reduced motion makes these changes instant.
An alternative to pointing
Pin games include an “accessible Pin input” below the globe. Enter the country you want to select and press Pin. It uses the same challenge, difficulty, scoring, and answer validation. No list of country names or target names is revealed.
Motion, sound, and vision
We respect your operating system’s reduced-motion preference on first load and when it changes. Success and error feedback never depend on sound or color alone. Find mode includes distances and adjacency text. The flag challenge offers an eight-row color-grid description that can be read by a screen reader; the country name is never used as the image’s alternative text.
Flag recognition is inherently visual. Find and Fill Type modes provide the most accessible geography experience without requiring visual flag recognition. If WebGL is unavailable, a fallback message and the country input let you continue playing.
